Because we're not interested in avoiding questions.
We fully acknowledge belief and doubt are not easy.
No matter where we sit with regard to belief and doubt in the Christian faith, neither side is the "easy" side. Both can be hard. At Fourth Avenue, we ask a lot of questions, voice doubts, and profess belief. We do this with each other, rather than in isolation, so we can keep moving and learning. We're inquistive people.
Passively accepting the beliefs or doubts that have been handed on to us by our families or regional culture is not interesting. We want to process our beliefs and doubts honestly and explore the claims of Christianity.
